iPhone/iPod touch only: Popular food web site Epicurious has unleashed a new iPhone application that puts access to over 25,000 recipes from the likes of Gourmet and Bon Appetit at your fingertips.
In addition to providing access to all of those great recipes (Gizmodo's Wilson Rothman is thrilled that the entirety of The Gourmet Cookbook is available), the app has an excellent feature that allows you to add a recipe to your shopping list to create a quick and easy checklist of everything you need to make the recipe. The shopping list feature could be better—for example, it'd be nice to be able to half or double recipes—but it's still a great start, and potentially a huge timesaver. Best of all, it's available for the low, low price of $0.
