Networking Tools: Test your internet connection speed at Internet Frog
via LH -mac -news -roundup -sponsors on May 10, 2007
The CodeJacked weblog points out Internet Frog, a dead-easy tool for seeing the rate at which the bytes flow in and out of your internet connection.
Hit the link to test your broadband connection's upload and download rates, which are shown on a simple graph alongside the average speeds for different connection types (ranging from 14.4 kps dial-up modems to ISDN to a T3.) My favorite part is seeing how your service ranks overall. Roadrunner here in NYC is at about 81%, better than I anticipated. Gina Trapani
