Windows only: The Power Dimmer screensaver dims your screen to a level you define, much like Macs do when they're not in use.
Unzip the Power Dimmer and place the SCR file in your C:\Windows\system32\ folder. Then in the Display Properties dialog's Screensaver tab, choose it. Hit the Settings button to set how dim the screen should get when Power Dimmer kicks in. The Power Dimmer is a free download for Windows (XP and 2000) only. Thanks, Zwergner! —Gina Trapani
